Raymond and Brenda were married at a bluegrass
music jammer's weekend. The morning of the wedding Brenda participated in a band
contest. As guitar player and vocalist with the Bluegrass Belles she sang an old
ballad:
I
asked my love to take a walk,
just to talk about our wedding day,
down
beside where the waters flow,
down
by the banks of the Ohio.
For those of you who have never heard this tune
(hopefully you can hear it playing in the background) in the end the singer killed the
only man she loved because he would not marry her. Raymond, listening in the
audience stood up and yelled, "I'll marry you, I'll marry you!" And he
did. That very afternoon.

Brenda, I'd like you to meet
the parson! |

There was plenty of music
that day and no shortage of wedding jokes. National fiddle champion Byron Berline,
and friends entertained us all. |

Finally it was time to tie the knot with the
Best Man....er I mean Best Dog, Leroy, in attendance.

I think I do...oh yes, of course I do! |

No rice for this
wedding, they threw birdseed at us! |

Already the gifts come pouring in....but who
is the ball and chain from? Best Dog Leroy thought everyone was laughing at him
lying at the feet of his people! |

The tradition of the wedding feast was not
omitted! |
